I ran into the same thing the first time I took my P19
out. The second time it came off the trailer much
more easily. I think that it had been sitting on the
trailer for so long that it (or the bottom paint) just
got "stuck" to the bunks, much like a window in an old
house can get stuck shut after many years. Someone a
while back suggested using a little dish soap on the
bunks before you haul back in, so it will slide off
more easily the next time. I haven't tried this yet,
but plan to.

My motor, although almost new, had been sitting
uncranked for 4 years when we finally needed it.
Nothing we did would entice it to crank. Taking it to
a good mechanic to clean it and make sure it was
working properly was money well spent. The piece of
mind knowing that it will start when you need it is
immeasurable. We have really needed the motor a
couple of times. I think you were smart not to go out
without it. Good luck, and let us know how it goes!
