Your post came just in time; I was going to ask you, now that you have used
the MinnKota for a couple of month, how you felt about it. I have the s/s112
which used to be their top of the line and also has the maximizer, but it has
only 42lbs of thrust. I am thinking of upgrading to your model. You said you
ran it for about 4 hours on a 95Amp/Hours battery which means if my math is
correct that you were running between 20/25 amps or a little less than half
power or 35lbs thrust which is about where I run mine (75%) but I have never
been able to run it for a couple hours even with a rest halfway. Must be the 24
volts and better efficiency.
