My office has been going through a big clean-up in preparation for a
move which has made for some interesting "dumpster-diving". I was able
to pluck 6 brand-new Panasonic sealed rechargeable batteries and I need
some help identifying the capabilities and limitations of these units in
the context of potential use aboard the Tilly Lucy. The batteries are of
Sealed Lead-Acid technology.

What I have is:

4 Panasonic LCR6V7.2P 6V, 7.2Ah/20HR

2 Panasonic LCR6V5P 6V, 5Ah/20HR

There is some "boilerplate" info that is similar between the two types:

Constant Voltage Charge
Cycle Use: 7.3 - 7.5V
Initial Current: Less than 2.88A (2.0A for the little ones)
Standy use: 6.8-6.9V
Caution! Do not short circuit
Do not charge in a sealed container

My hope is that these batteries might be useful for running lights or a
cabin light. I know from reading previous posts that there is
considerable expertise on this list concerning matters of an electrical
nature. Could someone please advise me as to whether I can pursue this
lighting project or should I send these batteries to a recycler?
