Harry et al;

A couple days ago, on my lunch break, I drove up to Stevens Creek reservoir
to see how it looked. The water level is up, the dock and ramp are in nice
shape and, the day I was there, the breeze was perfect for sailing.

I'm thinking of going up there tomorrow around mid-day for a few hours of
sailing and would welcome any company that cared to go. For those of you who
haven't been there, Stevens Creek is a bit small but very pretty, and for
people on the peninsula, very close and easy to get to. No gas engines are
allowed. Electrics are okay but the lake is small enough that it wouldn't be
much of a paddle back from anywhere you might run out of wind.

Directions:

Exit Fwy 280 at the Foothill Expwy/Grant Rd. exit. (just North of crossing
w/ fwy 85)
Head Southwest (towards the moutains) The expwy quickly becomes Foothill Blvd.
Continue straight on (about 3 miles) until you see the lake on your left.

If anyone likes fishing, I was told that they have just stocked the lake w/
1200 lbs. of Trout.
