Geoff,
After I wrote to our web page (Re New Kid on the Block) quoting Harry =
Gordon "... we are a friendly group, so let's live up to our =
reputation," you wrote me a personal email and I'd like to respond to it =
on our web page. My boat's name is Honey and you wrote:

"I like the name of your boat. I don't like people asking me, "Are you =
going=20
out on Lollipop today?", but if they where to ask me, "Ya plannin' on =
sitting=20
on your Honey all day?" I'd be a little more amused."

Geoff, I think Lollipop is a sweet name for your P-15 and I don't know =
why you don't like people asking you about going out on Lollipop. The =
funny part is, I have been sitting rather than sailing on my Honey. My =
husband gave our little ship that name ("she's a real honey") but since =
his death I don't really care much to sail alone. I do sometimes though =
with a friend and my dog Sweetie, like your Dillon, a cocker spaniel.
I sail more often, if only in my mind, with folks like you. Your name =
has appeared many times on this page. We, even us silent ones, can join =
you in your sails on Tahoe. I remember when you were out in high winds =
with electrical charges standing your hair on end and to the Bahamas for =
your adventures there. And all your helpful advice must be used by many. =
Before I go back to being just a silent member of the group, I'd like to =
say thanks for all you contribute.
