Welcome to the group Michele, A P.15 motor should not weigh more than 30
pounds. This limits you to a 3.5 HP motor. Don't buy a Seagull!
Also I find a short shaft works best on the 15, the long shaft motors tend
to drag the props and slow you down. However you can use the long shaft
motors if you have the retracting motor mount.
Look for a motor that has a dealer close by.
