(If you're wondering what this is, Ken had asked what the location of a genoa
track on a P-15 was so that he could install them. Mine where factory
installed)

Ken,

Went sailing yesterday. While stowing everything, I took the measurements
you need. Here goes:

The genoa track is 17" long with a block that has a set screw to be able to
set it anywhere along the track.

The track is mounted just below the rail on the coaming. It is set 1 1/4
inch below the top of the coaming. That 1 1/4 inch was measured to the center
line of the rail where the rivets are. The track is riveted to the
fiberglass with screws on the very ends (there are end caps that keep the
block from sliding entirely off the track).

If you stand looking at the coaming, off to the side, the forward edge of the
track is 7" aft of where the cabin meets the coaming.

Summery: Back 7" from the cabin. 1 1/4" below the top of the coaming.

I hope my description suffices. A drawing would be easier, but if you want to
see Kent get his ire up, try sending a graphic over our mail server! Last
time I did that, my 'puter was smokin' for a week!
