I know this is a Potter list, so hope I am not offending anyone. But I was
at Stockdale Marine today in Sacramento and they had a 1989 Montgomery 15
for sale for $4900 (they are a broker and will take offers). It includes
Nissan motor and trailer (with tongue extension) and lots of extras. From
what I could see, it is in excellent condition. I was actually in the
neighborhood and thought I would see if they still had that $150 genoa for
sale. If so, I would have passed that info along to the group. However, it
was sold. One of their salespersons said they expect a used Potter in later
this month. Not sure if it was a 15 or 19. Anyway, if someone is searching
for a nice Montgomery, they have one! BTW, I am not affiliated in any way
with Stockdale Marine...just bought a used Potter there!

P.S. Winds have been great at Folsom Lake all spring and summer. Supposed
to be S-SW 10-20 mph tomorrow and Friday, so I plan to be there tomorrow.
Early in the week, we were up to near 110 deg...but has since cooled with
delta breeze. Was at Tomales Bay sans sailboat this past weekend. Looks
like a great place to sail, but I understand this is great white shark
territory. I read in the paper that a great white over 20ft long was seen
off Anacapa Island in southern CA this past weekend. Apparently was
chomping on a dead whale caught in a net or something like that...and it was
sticking its head above water and plowing into boats. I think I'll stick to
the fresh water critters!
