I'm really reluctant to mention this, but since it happened again this
evening, I will.

Two months ago there was a pretty violent storm, and when I checked out
my P19, the cockpit drain was plugged, and several inches of water was
sitting in the cockpit. I used a plunger...didn't work. So I drained
the cockpit with a pail, and then sponge, and then I went below to
dissamble and check out the drain hose...it was plugged with a 1/2"
white ball that had a strong ammonia smell. I removed it, of course,
and all was well. This was very peculiar, but since the drain now
worked, I didn't give it a second thought.

This evening there was another powerful storm. When I checked out my
P19 cockpit, it was again holding several inches of water, and not
draining. To make a long story short, there were three white,
perfectly rounded, ammonia-smelling balls clogging the drain hose.
What gives? Anyone know?
