Next week we will hitch up Necessity and drive to Bayfield, WI and
Lake Superior's Apostle Islands. We've been working on house projects
recently, moving all our furniture to the east side of the house, then
to the west so the floor refinishers could do their job. Tomorrow we get
to put it all back, then we'll drive to the marina and bring the boat home
to get her ready for the trip.
We've never been to Bayfield before, so I'm asking for information about
sights to see or places to visit. We'll be on Madeline Island for two days,
in Bayfield for one and on the boat for two. We plan to visit the Michigan
Island lighthouse and Stockton Island. Basswood and Hermit islands are also
possible.
If any of you have recommendations, I'd love to hear 'em.
