Yo Potter people:

Here's another question regarding outfitting of Sukoshi (1980 P-15 #1044). I
want to replace the plastic jib hanks with bronze ones. The reason behind
this is twofold: 1.) I want to rig a jib downhaul and the plastic ones won't
accommodate the line as well as the forestay.
2.) My experience with the plastic ones (on a Lido 14 we used to race) is
that they will come unhooked from the forestay when the jib is down. The wind
then proceeds to blow them off the forestay and it's a chore 'chasing' the
jib to keep it down.

Has anybody done this? What size hanks were used, 1.5" or larger? Did you
use grommets in the luff with plastic protectors like Odyssey used on our
P-19 Genoa or is there another technique?
