Sink pump, and where find sink drain fitting?

We had company this weekend and didn't have time to
take the boat out, but I did get some time yesterday
evening to work on repairing our 1986 P19's water
system. The sink drain fitting is cracked, and the
top and bottom halves did not look like they fit
together anyway. I wonder where others have found
replacements for this odd part.
I got new hoses hooked up to the sink water pump, but
the pump does not seem to "hold" the water at the top
of the pipe, or draw very well unless I press the
plastic water jug it is drawing from until the water
shoots up the pipe to the pump. Do I just have an old
pump, or are they all this way? Thanks for your help.
