Hi Bill:
What you are after is called a Barber hauler, used to adjust the lateral
positionof the clew. Its usual form is an adjustable line that ends in a
block that rides on the sheet. You need to find a location on the cabin top
or side to which you can temporarily fasten a line, so that when you want
the sheet in, you pull the Barber haul inboard, and the clew is pulled in.
On a P19, the sheet will then be hard against the shrouds, so it's better to
adjust the sheet first, then haul the Barber. When you want the clew
outboard, just ease the haul.

Any other ideas for better pointing setup without losing the other points of
sail. I don't want to do the Judy B.
cabintop setup because I only plan on keeping the boat another year or so.
