Thanks to you Potter experts who gave me advice about rigging my "new" Potter
15. I have added a jib downhaul as you recommended and plan to also add a
boom vang. My experiences so far have raised more questions so let me ask
for some addtional advice:

Boom vang - I intend to buy a mini-vang from West Marine and wonder where and
how the vang should be attached to the boom and the mast?

Boom rest - Do you recommend a topping lift or a crutch to support the boom
when docked or at anchor?

Reefing - I would like to add jiffy reefing, and my sail has grommets for
reef points. Any suggestions for how the reefing should be rigged? I see
that Harken sells a one line reefing kit for small boats that includes a
cheek block on a track for the clew end of the boom. It doesn't seem like
that block would need adjusting, so why the track?

Since I will be sailing single handed much of the time do you have any
suggestions for organizing all the lines coming back to the cockpit?

It's a pleasure to have a boat that comes with an advisory group of experts.
My last (and first) boat was one of a kind, and it was very frustrating
because there was no way to get any information about it.

Thanks,
