Greetings Potter folk,

I'm about ready to rewire my P19, and I'm going to put in a single 110v circuit. Up til now, we just ran the cord thru the companion way.

It rains alot here in the winter, and we still want to be comfy on the boat if we're in a slip. It'll be nice to be able to plug-in a heater or battery charger without rain coming in through the companionway, or having to trip over the cord in the companionway.

So I've decided to put another hole in my boat. : ) No surprise, huh, coming from me, but at least I still don't have any holes below the water line.

My question to the group: where did you put the thru-hull ship to shore power connector? I'm talking about the place you plug the heavy cord with the wierd connector into your boat.

I'm considering putting the recepticle on the side of the cabin wall near the cockpit. Or maybe a location closer to the bow. What works and doesn't work with the way your boat is set up?

Thanks in advance,
Judy B
