Two alternatives:
1) don't
2) get a pro (make that a talented pro) to do it

Swaging together wire is actually pretty simple. On your P-19 you should
have (hopefully) 1/8" wire. The tools you used at West Marine were the
correct tools (same ones the 'pros' use!) If you used the 1/8" oval swage
sleeves, there should have been two crimps per sleeve, with a hump in the
middle. Using the correct slot on the crimpers, you should have a swage that
will outlast the wire.

I read a report in Practical Sailor about various fittings used for wire.
Nicropress, Sta-Loc, oval swages, etc. EVERY SINGLE ONE outlasted the wire
in stress tests. Meaning, the wire parted before the swage/terminal let go.
Sorry to hear about your misfortune. If you go back to West Marine to make
your new shrouds, ask one of the associates to help you.(They can't actually
pull the handle, but they can offer advice) There should also be detailed
instructions at their rigging bench--
