I can see where you had a bad experience w/ NiCad batteries. NiMH are a
completely different animal. (Don't drop them, or you'll kill em') Quest
(found on the internet) sells AA through D batteries in NiMH, and also
chargers. In looking for rechargeable batteries, I, too would stay away from
NiCads. This day in age they are obsolete. Your battery life will be cut in
half compared to your RAB. I tested my NiMH batteries after charging 8
hours, and they read 1.4v Still won't make my boat go faster though......
