When Larry Hart took over building Potters he sent out a very nice
letter
and questionaire to all the owners of Potters he had addresses for... I
think
a lot of us were pleased at this sign of desire to continue to improve
the
Potter line, and I notice some subtle changes in the newer P-19's and
P-15's..
Better masthead blocks on the P-15's and 19's, and so on..
Out of curiousity.. I wonder just how many little ( but worthwhile )
changes have been made at the factory.. on that questionaire long ago
I suggested, sail slugs on the P-15 sail right from the factory, a four
part lifting block and tackle standard for raising and lowering the
board,
a proper lifting hydrofoil shape on the board, the rudder and rudder
housing,
and the beaching skegs, to help the boat point even better, etc..
Perhaps some of these subtle changes and improvements have been coming
right along.. ( I note the improved battery and porta potti placement in
the new
19 for instance..).. What would be some improvements you would
recommend, and what are some of the ones you have noted in the newer
boats?... by this, I would tend to mean little changes that really make
the
boat work a lot better..
Yours, in curiousity..
