A couple of years ago I told Darrow Bishop I.M. should beef up the area
around the skegs in the P.15 with more glass. I had a problem on my 1974
model after hitting a rock. Last month Carol and I were in the L.A. area and
stopped by International Marine. Scott gave us a tour of the plant, even
though they were very busy. I checked out a new P.15 hull being laid up and I
noticed the area in and around the skegs was beefed up with heavy roving and
resin. These people really listen to our input. Jerry
