We took delivery on our new Potter 19 in early March '99. With the ONE
exception of the companionway hatch, the quality has been top notch. All
equipment has been as advertised or better and the only faults have been
with the operators! We're eagerly planing our spring and summer '00 trips.
(lower Columbia River, and later Puget Sound and the San Juans!)

We've added a 12" wide grab rail about 2" high on the 'transom deck' just
forward of the telescoping boarding ladder to make it easier to get back
aboard after swimming. We also changed out the factory two-step into the
cabin with a hinged fold up single step that allows easier access to the
storage area aft of the step, beneath the cockpit deck.

We also received some things on the "popular option package" that we hadn't
ordered but that experience has taught us that we're glad we received.
Foremost among those is the 'mast raising system'. I'm 6' tall and in
better than average shape (3 days/week at the gym) but raising the mast in
various conditions (including ON the water) is NOT easy and I'm GLAD that
the factory sent the mast raising system. It doesn't add THAT much time to
the rigging process and it adds immeasurably to my peace of mind. (I lower
the mast without it.)

Hope that's the kind of feedback you were looking for Judy.
