I have used Acetone, and lacquer thinner in the past, but as Judy
mentions
they seem to remove a thin layer of the weathered vinyl, and also seemed
to discolor again rather soon, and the fumes from the more volatile
solvents
seem to get to me a little more than I like.. I liked the apparent
water solubility
and absence of fumes from the West Marine stuff.
