Check whats in the West Marine Stuff. What is it?

If you must scrub to remove gook you also take a part of vynil off. Scrubbing
is like sanding.

Only way to retain color is to wax and keep out of rain. Rain has acids and
black oil that attach to it again as it flows overit.
