FWIW my 1988 shoreline trailer was 300 pounds when I took it over the scales
to get it certified in WA state.

Last time i had the boat+trailer over the scales, the trailer axle was 1780,
but I think i had the motor and some other goodies in the tow rig, plus the
tongue weight...
