   I have two outboards that I use on my HMS 18 Sunshine. A 4 HP Mariner 2
stroke and a 5 HP Nissan 4 stroke, and both motors weigh the same 57 pounds.
I don't trailer with either motor mounted on the transom. Last year I
designed a strong and simple motor mount on the front of the trailer. The
motor rides the same height as it does on the transom, so I don't have to do
any stooping or bending. I have followed potters going down the roar with the
motors on the transom, they bounce like crazy. Jerry Barrilleaux ,
