Hi John,

I wish it were true....but here in Delaware we are getting large and rapid
swings in the weather....one day almost 65 the next day close to freezing.
" Amenity " is still in the car port....however I partially pulled
back the cover yesterday and started getting her ready for another season
! Yipeeeee!

I'm reading a spellbinding true saga book about a couple of guys taking a
22 foot C-Dory flat bottom curiser [ with twin 40 HP Honda/4s outboard
motors ] ...from New York City to the Pacific Ocean by going up the
Hudson....across the Erie Canal...trailer portage to Lake
Chautauqua....down the Ohio....up the Mississippi., Missouri, etc. ..etc.
In reading about their stormy leg from Buffalo to Dunkirk on Lake Erie
it sounded " interesting ".... ;-<OOO !...so " interesting " so they
decided to get off Lake Erie ASAP at Dunkirk instead of going to
Barcelona.

FYI the thick book of 502 pages is " River Horse " by William Least
Heat-Moon ". Very good reading !
Bill Z
" Amenity " ...PMT
