It may have been beaten up on the list earlier concerning the urban legend,
but what some folks don't understand, no matter what you do, or whether
there is truth or not--when you send a note with all of your addressees in
the TO line, it then sends the addresses of every one of your recipients to
folks on the mailing list--and here's the real hot flash for those who
wonder how they end up with junk mail in their mailbox as they never give
their address out except to friends and family--by messages just as the
warning that was making the rounds.

If you feel totally compelled to send out the latest joke, warning, or
cookie dough recipe (no that was Judy B's recipe for wood dough... sorry
about that..) please don't expose everyone else to potential harvesting by
either using the Blind ccopy or Bcc selection for your laundry list, or
better yet, just don't.
