Quick question on the boom set-up...my boom is 8' and slides out from from
the gooseneck fitting about an inch and a half. The clew was lashed
directly to an eye at the end of the boom. The latest WW Potter factory
user's guide shows a block attached to the eye on the end of the boom and
the line going from the clew, through the block and cleated on the port
side. I'm thinking of replacing the eye with a cheek block....Any thoughts
or ideas?
