Here's some suggestions to get a quality list, with appropriate advertising:
1. Allow and charge members to advertise their business/line of work.
2. Charge members participating in flame wars.
3. Charge double for stupid jokes.
4. Charge for messages sent in duplicate/triplicate.
5. Charge for stupid questions.
6. Charge double for stupid answers.
7. Charge for stupid boat names.
8. Charge members for not reaching hull speed.
9. Charge for leaving the keel up.
10. Charge some members no matter what they do.
The Potter List will become like the Bank of England.
I'd probably go broke with this new system but HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY!
