Ken Silverman prefers launching at Shilshole marina, I believe, because it
launches directly out into the sound, and there's better wind out there, and
I put much stock in his preference, 'cause he's sailed both places and I
have not.
I think Lake Washington at Magnusun (sp?) park is good too. I think it will
be a toss up between the two, depending on what most of us feel comfortable
with. Less wind on the lake, typically, perhaps, but less waves and tidal
stuff.
But too much "less" wind, and we'll all be wishing we WERE at shilshole.
Votes, anyone?
Perhaps the first one on the lake, and the next one on the sound?
I'll be the first to toss out some dates. I'm not trying to dominate, just
toss out
some possibilities.

May 20/21
June 24/25
July & Aug weekends are totally open for me at this point.
Any input? Lets start narrowing down some dates for the lake and the sound.
