Looking for some compact ballast? Try 50# salt blocks available at any
co-op or live stock supply outlet. A little trimming with a skill saw and
you can drop two of those suckers into the forward compartment for 80# plus
in the bow. Wrap the trimmed pieces with seran wrap and hit it with a hair
dryer to seal it. A 50# white block is 5 or 6 bucks and is a hair under a
cubic foot in size.
