The two that I remember coming through the list in the past are using
nylon bolts (if you have the holes drilled through the case and
board). The idea is that nylon is strong enough to hold the board in
if you turtle, but weak enough to break on a grounding.

The second idea is to use some type of bungee cord, preferably the
heavy black rubber type. These are strong enough to hold the board in
but have plenty of give in a grounding.

Of course none of these ideas talks about how to anchor the ends on
the case. I have seen messages talking about screws in the side of
the case and gluing or epoxying mounts on the side of the case.
