I have an 1984 heavy duty mast, which is a Dwyer DM-6. IM is now using a
copy of the Dwyer DM-5. Judy talks about this and more on her website. I
do know that my gooseneck fits into a newer mast, so at least that part of
the gooseneck is compatible. I don't know if the boom diameter is the same
for older versus newer boats.
