And for camping trips you can take out the bags of foam and use canoe/raft
type waterproof duffels or packs. . .probably 2 on each side. . .full of
sleeping bags and the like.

Bill, you might want to try stuffing 2 canvas duffle bags with
Styrofoam floatation bits, one for each of the underseat spaces,
the canvas to keep things contained, the styrofoam for floatation... did
this ten years ago, using heavy plastic garbage bags, which
have finally begun to crack and tear and leak styrofoam bits into
the bilges... which is why I'm suggesting canvas or some more
durable material..
