Karen,

I can RIG mine in 20 mintues -- that includes raising the mast, and
attaching the boom and mainsail, reeving the sheets, and attaching the
rudder.

But that doesn't include undoing all the bungees, putting on the outboard,
attaching the gas can, loading my personal gear in the boat, attaching
fenders and dock lines, launching, and parking the van. Or talking with
people or mopping up the spilled coffee, or one last stop in the bathroom.

That takes me an additional 30 mintues :)

The only P19 skipper I know who can arrive in the parking lot and leave the
dock in 20 minutes is Jerry Barrilleaux.

I wonder if the keels are different depending on the year? Or maybe IM just
likes to exaggerate--20 minutes to launch....a 370# keel... You'd think
they
would know. What I want to know is how to prevent it from rusting. I
noticed
Judy put anti-fouling paint on it. Does this work? Doesn't it add drag?
How
about some wax? Has anyone else done anything to protect their keel?
