Sadly I am selling my 2001 Potter 19 "Cat's Meow". I picked her up at the factory in December of 2000. At 87 my balance is not what it used to be, and I am not fond of getting up on the boat in a parking lot to set her up or take her down. She is an easy and forgiving, boat to sail. Over the years she has kept me safe.
"Cat's Meow" is set up for coastal cruising. I have solo sailed her from Ft Bragg to San Diego.

FOR SALE: Like New Potter 15, never been sailed

I purchased this West Wight Potter 15 from Nora Roehr, the big winner from the February 23, 2015 The Price is Right game show. The Potter, as equipped, had a retail price of $15,495. It is a beautiful bright dark blue hull with gold stripes. It is hull number HMSA2841C015. International Marine, the manufacturer, delivered it to her and she immediately put it up for sale. (For the record: you can look up the show on youtube and the sailboat she won on the the show is Yellow, but the brand new boat they delivered to her was blue). She garaged it in Shingle Springs, CA and I bought it from her in August 2016. I garaged it in Sacramento, CA until 2021. I then towed it to Brigantine, NJ where it has been under cover since arriving on the East Coast.

This boat is next to new, has never been sailed, the sails are in their original unopened packages, the boom and mast have never been mounted, etc. It has only been in the water once when I floated it off its trailer for a few hours in 2023 to mark the water line with a grease pencil in anticipation of applying bottom paint. I then put it back on the trailer because I realized that the bays around Brigantine are not ideal for sailing. So I got it professionally shrink-wrapped and am now selling it.

This Potter 15 has many nice options and features such as: premium edition, teak cabin top hand rails,it colored hull, stainless steel fold up boarding ladder, adjustable outboard mount and wood trim.

It is on a nice 2015 Baja Custom Trailer that has never been registered. The trailer will be included for free. I will provide a bill of sale for the trailer. The tires are nice 155R12 radial trailer tires load range D and are about 3 years old. I have kept covers over the tires since towing it from California to New Jersey. It tows really nice and and you hardly know the boat/trailer are behind the car. It has a 2 inch hitch ball.

The boat is titled and registered in New Jersey in my name. It is titled as a 2005. The bill of sale dated April 23, 2015 provided by the manufacturer and given to the Price is Right winner does not state the date of manufacture of the boat or the trailer.

You can deduct whatever that means to you when considering the purchase of this never sailed, nearly new sailboat. I have it listed on Craigslist effective June 16, 2024 in the Jersey Shore, NJ section.

I am the third owner, having captained this boat and trailer since 1978; 18' (excluding pulpit) Hull Number 5. It has been parked in a storage yard for years, and I'm getting too old and tired to fix it up and sail her anymore. There is no motor, though it at one point had a long-shaft Yamaha 7hp that moved her rather briskly. The sails were old and blown out of shape when I bought her with a roller reefing jib and a mainsail. The last time I looked, the tires were flat and cracked. Not much of a sales pitch I admit, but I don't want to be misleading.

The system would not let me input "1970s ?" So the date of manufacture of 1973 is only approximate.
