Tom,

I put mine under the rear starboard quarterberth. I drilled a hole behind
the cushion for the wiring, and epoxied it in the back of the access hatch,
right next to the flotation back there. I removed the paint on the
fiberglass, roughed it up a little, and used slow (30 min cure) epoxy from
the hardware store (nothing fancy or marine). That and a 3 pound weight to
keep it in place, and it works fantastically. It is very cool!
