Dear Potter Gang,

Up til now, we've all (me included) been opining without any hard data. Now,
with the kind assistance of Scott at IM, I was able to obtain the technical
specs on the P19 mast.

Scott informed me that he has had not a single warranty claim yet that he
attributed to the backstay as installed by IM.

NOW, PLEASE,

Let's hear from those engineers out there on the issue of whether or not the
mast is structurally adequate for using an adjustable backstay.

Roulez les bonnes temps,

Judy B.
