If so, it would be in such minute amounts as to be impractical for use. Mother
Earth News magazine has run some interesting but complicated methane production
septic systems in years past. It requires an airtight and anti-static capture
system since methane is extremely volatile.
>Can I use the compost to grow bean sprouts?
All you need is water and a container for growing bean sprouts, but you can use
the composted soil for growing wheatgrass, onions, and other healthy shallow
soil foods. Check out Kenneth Neumeyers book "Sailing the Farm". Very good
reading.
