Don't say this until after you check out the Alaskan mosquitoes!
Up there, they actually get into fights over which bug gets the
little snack that we call a person. Why, I've heard straight
from the trapper himself that once he woke up in the morning and
there were two mosquitoes at the foot of his bed argueing which
of them got to have him for a snack. Heck, I've had to keep them
from getting in by using a sledge hammer to pound their snouts over
like a bent nail when they try to woodpecker their way into the
place! Lost that cabin when they gave up and flew away, though.
Some of the trappers up there swear by bear traps around the cabin
to keep them away, but I don't think those are strong enough.
