Nah, I'm 6' 4", 220 lbs, and I go forward to do sail changes. I do prefer to change "up", that is from the jib to the genoa because the wind has diminished. Going the other way,
it's best to pull into some lee that breaks the wind and waves, like an island or a breakwater. Otherwise, use the downhaul to douse the genoa and proceed under mainsail, reefing
that if necessary until you can find calmer water to go forward in. Or, hoist the "iron mainsail".
